September 1 | 8:30 am - 11:30 am

On September 1, 2025, people who care about Lake Tahoe will gather at Kings Beach State Recreation Park for a cleanup event that brings the community together to help the environment. The goal is to collect trash from the lakeshore before rain can wash litter into the water. This event is a chance to make a real difference in preserving the lake’s clarity and protecting wildlife. You’ll be part of the solution by giving the shoreline a cleaner, healthier future.
Things to Know Before Coming
The cleanup runs in the morning, starting at 8:30 a.m. and wrapping up by 11:30 a.m. It’s a good idea to travel together, walk, or bike to the site if you can, so there are fewer cars and less parking stress. The focus is on teamwork and care for the natural space, so everyone’s help big or small makes a difference.
Ticket Information
There’s no fee to join. Anyone is welcome to help out and support the health of the lake simply by showing up ready to participate.
