What Are Bees Thinking (Bee Cognition Talk)

On October 23, 2025, Dr. Felicity Muth from UC Davis will talk about how bumblebees, both in the wild and in labs, think, learn, and make decisions. She studies how bees choose flowers, remember places, and how things like pesticides affect them. She also wrote a children’s book about native bees to help others learn.
