Valentine’s Day Sunset Snowshoe with Champagne

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a unique way with a sunset snowshoe experience at Tahoe Adventure Company in South Lake Tahoe. This special outing invites you to trek through peaceful winter woods as the setting sun bathes the Sierra in pink and purple light, then enjoy glasses of champagne and sweet treats. No previous experience is needed, just a love for nature and a desire to make the evening memorable.

Things to Know Before Coming

The event runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on February 14 and begins with fitting for snowshoes and poles before heading into the forest. You will be guided through the trail while learning about the natural and human history of the area, and the guide will select a scenic spot to stop for champagne, dessert, hot drinks, and snacks. Dress in warm layers since you’ll be outdoors in winter conditions—boots, gloves, and a jacket are good ideas. The treat‑break location will offer a relaxed moment to enjoy the views and the company. While you don’t need a partner, this experience has a romantic feel and offers a lovely way to share the evening with someone special or simply treat yourself.

Ticket Information

Tickets cost $135 per person, which covers snowshoes, poles, guided instruction, permit fees, the dessert & champagne stop, and hot drinks. Since only a limited number of participants are allowed, booking early is advised to secure your spot. Payment will be made at the time of reservation, and you’ll receive details about meeting time and location after booking.
