This is a big event held by Tahoe XC on Saturday, November 8, 2025. It’s a fundraiser for youth programs run by TCCSEA. You can find, buy, or sell gear for cross-country skiing, backcountry gear, snowshoes, and other human-powered outdoor equipment. Whether you’re just getting into skiing or you’ve spent many winters outside, the swap gives you a chance to get gear, help others, and support the ski community.
Things to Know Before Coming
The swap runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Tahoe XC in Tahoe City. There’s a suggested donation of $10 for entry. Inside, only 25 shoppers are allowed at a time to keep things safe and give everyone good help from staff. If you’re selling gear, you drop it off ahead of time, clean it, put tags on it, and fill out the forms clearly. Unsold items can be picked up the next day or Monday after the event. If you don’t pick up by 5 PM on Monday, the items are donated. There’s a 20% commission taken from each sale to help fund the youth programs.

You don’t need a ticket, just a suggested $10 donation to enter.
