On Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Village at Palisades Tahoe, diners and music lovers come together for a kind of battle. Six restaurants serve up their best, flavor packed chicken wings while six bands bring the tunes. You get to vote for your favorites best wings and best band as the community cheers on the fun competition.
Things to Know Before Coming
When you arrive, the TINS bar opens at 4:00 p.m., offering ticketing and plus beer, wine, and cocktail specials. To join in the voting, you get or buy special tokens that let you cast votes for your top wing and band pick. It’s all for a good cause: proceeds support TINS—the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science—which uses the funds for science, education, and outreach across the Tahoe region. Last year, this fun event helped raise nearly $10,000 for them.
