Sand Harbor State Park turns into Spooky Harbor this fall with outdoor movies and Halloween fun. Every Friday from September 26 to October 31, plus Saturday November 1, they’re showing movies under the stars right on the beach. On October 31, they’re screening the movie Us at 6:30 pm. It’s a unique way to celebrate Halloween with Lake Tahoe as your backdrop.
Things to Know Before Coming
Movies start 30 minutes after sunset, around 7:00 pm. Bring blankets, low-back chairs, flashlights, and warm clothes because it gets cold at night. There are no food vendors, so pack snacks and drinks. The movie Us is rated R, so use your judgment if bringing kids. Standard park entry fees apply: ten dollars for Nevada plates, fifteen dollars for out-of-state vehicles. No reservations needed after 10:30 am.
